For their debut album, Basile Ausländer and Jansen Ryser, laureates of the Crescendo Young Swiss Artists, bring together the sonatas for cello and piano by Honegger, Enescu and Poulenc. Three composers trained in Paris, three complementary perspectives on a world in transformation: Honegger’s lucid observation, Enescu’s organic humanity, and Poulenc’s expressive freedom, where contrasts and ruptures give voice to modernity.
